GRAPHIC DESIGN PUBLICATION

The project is a research on semiotics that takes place in a multicultural Chinatown area in the Hague: chinese restaurants, arabic mosque, thai massages, korean peace museum and ex jewish neighbourhood- all on one street.
Working with the multicultural Chinatown, I am extracting hidden and mediating messages and trying to create a new visual grammar. Posters presents series of experiments on the blend of multicultural discourses. New visual language was integrated back into its initial environment.
